BUILDING BRIDGES: HEALING HEARTS, RENEWING MINDS
BELOVED SANCTUARY FAMILY,
As we step into this season, the Spirit is calling us to a deeper work of healing- within ourselves, within our relationships, and within our communities. Healing is not a moment; it is a bridge. It carries us from where we have been into the next place God has prepared.
Scripture reminds us, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147: 3). God is still healing. God is still reconciling. God is still building bridges in a world that desperately needs restoration.
As we prepare our hearts for the beginning of summer and the dawning of a new one in Christ, we are invited to shift our mindset toward unity and spiritual renewal. Reconciliation begins with God, but it does not end there. It extends to our families, our churches, our leaders, and even our nation. No matter what we see, God remains on the throne.
Healing the land requires participation. It requires believers who are willing to lead with humility, surrender pride and ego, and lay down the walls of envy, strife, indifference,
jealousy, and bitterness. These barriers cannot go with us into the next season.
The heart is the center of. our faith, and from the heart, God calls us to unity. “Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity… for there the Lord commands the blessing”.
May we commit ourselves to building bridges- bridges of compassion, forgiveness, courage, mercy, peace, and spiritual maturity. May we be found in the presence of the Lord, healed, whole, and ready for what He is preparing behind the scenes of war.
Grace and peace,
Debra Stith
