🏀Sanctuary Letter: A Covering for the Knicks

Beloved,

There are moments when God allows us to witness perseverance, unity, and resilience in unexpected places. Sometimes it shows up in our homes, sometimes in our ministries, and sometimes-yes-even on the basketball court.

As the New York Knicks press toward victory, I felt led to speak a covering over them. Not because basketball is eternal, but because excellence, discipline, unity, and courage are spiritual principles, and wherever they appear, we honor them.

Today, we lift up this team with the same heart we lift up our families, our communities, and our own journeys: with faith, with clarity, and with expectation.

🕊️ Teaching Heart

Victory is not just about the scoreboard. Victory is about:

Focus underpressure
Unity in adversity
Strength in the face of doubt
Courage to finish what you started

These are spiritual disciplines.
These are life disciplines.
And today, we speak over this team.

🙏🏽 Victory Prayer Over the Knicks

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we declare victory.
Not by might, not by power, but by Your Spirit, saith the Lord.

Cover the knicks with focus, unity, and strength.
Let every plan be sharp, every movement be disciplined, every
decision be wise,

Remove fear.
Remove doubt.
Remove distraction.

Release confidence.
Release clarity.
Release excellence.

Protect them from injury, frustration, and confusion.
Surround them with favor on the court and off.

And Lord, if it be your will, let them walk into Game 5 with courage
and walk out with victory,

We speak victory, we stand in victory, and we thank You for victory.
