Practice: Journaling moments of betrayal and their emotional
impact.
Prayer: Honest lament before God.

Lesson 2: Jesus Betrayed

Scripture Anchor: Matthew 26: 47-50
Core Truth: Christ’s betrayal shows He understands our pain and
meets us in it.
Practice: Guided reflection-imagine Jesus sitting with you in your betrayal.
Prayer: “Lord, You know this pain. Sit with me in it.”

Lesson 3: The Cost of Trust

Scripture Anchor: John 21:15-17
Core Truth: Forgiveness is possible, but rebuilding trust requires discernment and wisdom.
Practice: Reflect on one broken relationship-what restoration and boundaries would look like.
Prayer: Courage to forgive wisely and rebuild trust where God leads.

Lesson 4: Betrayal and Boundaries

Scripture Anchor: Proverbs 4:23
Core Truth: Guarding the heart is essential after betrayal.
Boundaries protect without closing us off.
Practice: Write a “boundary declaration” of what you will/will not allow.
Prayer: Strength to guard the heart with love.

Lesson 5: Transformation Through Betrayal

Scripture Anchor: Genesis 50:20
Core Truth: God can turn betrayal into redemption and growth.
Practice: Share testimonies of how God transformed betrayal into wisdom of compassion.
Prayer: Thanksgiving for God’s power to bring good out of harm.

Lesson 6: Living Free Beyond Betrayal

Scripture Anchor: Romans 8:28
Core Truth: Betrayal does not define us. God’s call
and love are stronger than any wound.
Practice: Create a personal affirmation: “I am not defined by
betrayal; I am defined by God’s call.”
Prayer: Lord, I release the weight of betrayal. I chose
freedom in You.”
