Lesson Three: Divine Belonging

  1. Opening Invocation

Begin with a communal refrain: “I belong to you, Oh Lord…I am
remembered, I am healed, I am Yours.”

2. Scripture Anchor

John 15:15 – “I no longer call you servants..I have called you friends.”
Ephesians 2:19 – “You are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow
citizens with saints and members of trhe household of God.

3. Teaching Theme

Belonging as fulfillment: God’s remembrance and healing culminate in belonging-
being fully known, fully loved, fully included.
From isolation to community:
Identity in Christ:
Belonging is not earned; it is gifted through grace.

4. Poetic Meditation
I was a stranger,
You called me a friend.
I was wandering,
You gave me home.
I was forgotten,
You remember me.
I was broken,
You healed me.
Now I belong-
forever Yours.

5. Practical Application

I invite you to reflect: Where do I feel I belong? Where do I still feel outside?
Encourage them to name communities where God is calling them into deeper
fellowship.
Connect this to your ministry vision: creating spaces of healing-entered creativity
where all voices are welcomed.

6. Closing Ritual

Return to the refrain: “I belong to You, Oh Lord”
Ending with a blessing: “May remembrance lead to healing, and healing lead to belonging, until all are one in Christ.”
